LAUNCHING THE 2012 - 2013
PROSPECTUS FOR BASIC ARTS EDUCATION
[QIRS]2012
The Quadrennial International Reading Symposium (QIRS) is due to take place Saturday May 19th 2012. The Sympoisum was postponed from May 2010 to accomdate the first phase of ongoing Research and Academic Fellowship. Upto this point, the subject of Reading & Illiteracy in the UK has not been as popular as 'qualifying' for a University place. However, a surge of interest has now surrounded the subject of 'Reading & Literacy' across London for the past ten months in accessible Media sources. This has attracted a host of Community Leaders and Celebrity support for much needed attention on children and adults who have missed the opportunity to harness these basic skills in the UK.
QIRS will see seven panel members present Academic Papers and present tangible Research, focusing a spotlight on 'Reading & Literacy Skills' in the UK. As an Community Interest Company, we will be specilaising in 'Reading & Literacy' for the non-traditional audiences. Download the official Declaration Statement Here [...]
